Brazil 1978 World Cup
A transitional Selecao ended up with the Bronze medals from 1978 tournament taking place in neighbouring Argentina however there is still bitterness that it wasn't a 4th trophy as Argentina controversially got the goals they needed against Peru to top Group B in the second phase, after Brazil had already played. Brazil would finish the tournament unbeaten and would have to wait 4 years to get revenge on the Albiceleste on the World Stage.
