Arsenal lost the 1927 FA Cup final to Cardiff City 1-0. The final is most remembered for Arsenal Goalkeeper Dan Lewis's mistake which led to the only goal of the game. This was the first ever Cup Final to be broadcast by BBC Radio. The commentators on the day were Derek McCulloch and George Allison, who later went on to manage Arsenal.
